When my MB first exhibited it's negative behavior, I would have taken it to a verified "expert" and told him "find it, fix it and charge what you will". In my stupid quest to figure mine out, I have spent thousands of $$$$, hundreds of hours and am no closer to a "fix" than I ever was. Go ahead and take it to an expert, if you can find one! You can throw a LOT of money at one of these cars!!!
