$500 is a big boost in price over the $370 I paid in January. Add the bracket and the cost would be over $600.

On the one hand, the Becker cost around $1,100 new and it's the best option available. On the other hand, paying $600 for a unit for a 10 year old car is hard to justify.

I'd personally have to think long and hard about the $600 but I never found any alternative that was acceptable to me.

You'd get some of it back when you sold your car and it's a VERY NICE system. We have ours playing continuously on Random.
