Lol, when I had a 450SL some 20 years ago I asked about the subframe recall, and told then I wanted it done, for free. A long period of silence ensued, followed by a "you aren't serious are you?".

Though rude doesn't begin to describe the attitude of Jaguar dealers when you are trying to order parts for a neo-classic model like a XJS. They flat out refused to do an alignment because I was the second owner....
