603 n/a

The PO had the pump totally rebuilt by Bosch. However the install was done by a local mechanic in his area. So there could be some wiggle room as to how it was set up.

It idles nice though in my opinion a little low 500rpm (according to the manual should be around 700).

When driving 70mph on the interstate after 70 I don't have any more power even though the accelerator pedal can go further. Even the kickdown will not kick in at that speed. And any slight incline on the interstate the speed begins to drop down to about 63 before it begins to accelerate again. Now if I were going slightly down hill then I have extra power to push it to about 85.

The transmission has been adjusted properly and the vehicle only has 190k on it.

I have heard as you mentioned that it is just a slug and there is nothing to be done but surely there is a little more juice to be had.

I really like the ease of install of the 606 N/A but obviously the 606A would for me be the cream of the crop.

Thanks for the insight
Mark
