Took it to my mechanic today and he found two out of the three wires that goes to the oil level sending unit had came into. Patched the wires and that took care of the problem. He said they were into right below the EGR valve around where the engine and trasmission meet at the top of teh bell housing. Glad to have it taken care of, this is the first time I have driven the car and no malfunctions have popped up in the instrument cluster.
