{my "80" rebuilt engine}

Is this engine out of an 80 240D? my 80 uses the R-4 Hocky Puck compressor. I think it is the first yr for it.


Sanden? I have a Sanden bracket from a Euro 300D. It only uses the 2 forward holes on the side of the block, and uses 2 tapped holes under the vacuum pump which the 617.952 doesn`t have. also don`t see them on my 80 240. post some pictures of your bracket some time if you think about it.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
