SEats
When I first got my 190D (1984, 2.2L, 5-spd), I was hit in the driver's door within the first month. While I had it at the body shop/mechanic's, I had him pull the seat cover off the driver's seat, re-tie the springs down, and rebuilt with firm foam. It was much better after that, but I had a decent seat cover to start with. Prior to the rebuild, I felt like I needed a couch-cushion under my rump in order to see over the dash . . . LOL.
I would look for the best driver's seat of the same color, and consider having an upholstery shop take off the seat cover and repack with new foam. Unfortunately, by the time a lot of these cars make it to a junkyard, there are a couple hundred thousand miles of someone else's butt mashed down on the original foam, which will feel as fun as wearing someone else's worn out shoes.
You may be able to do the repacking yourself, also, for the cost of the foam.
Good luck.
What year/model/engine is yours? 5-spd???
