I've got a burned out fog light on the 300SD and can't figure out what's up with it. Nobody seems to be able to get the bulb anymore; it came up no longer available at Advance.

The lights are the "style" of lights shown in that picture. The headlights are sealed beams. Are the fog lights also "replace the whole box" design? I didn't want to go breaking plastic tabs trying to pull the thing apart until I knew what I was dealing with.
Fastlane lists this part for the left one:

and this part for the right one:

WHY is the left one $230 while the right one is only $54?
And why are EITHER of them so expensive? Surely this must be for... I don't know, something beyond what I need to replace. All I've got is a burned out bulb. Do I really have to replace this entire unit? Is this the "sealed beam replacement" for lack of a better term, or is there a $5 bulb behind this thing that I haven't figured out how to remove yet?
