Based on subsequent remarks, the message they got was, "this will not stand," "he wasn't born here," "Reid and Pelosi are ruining the nation," etc. Any mention of the fact that their baby boy for 8 years left the nation in a shambles is met with hooting and 'oh, they're stuck on blaming Bush.' Is it really your belief that the election of 2008 represented an embrace of Democrats? I don't think so. I think the shortest explanation was that 2008 was a total rejection of the ruling party from the previous 8 years. In 8 years nearly everybody had found something to hate about them.
That does not suggest or imply an embrace of Democrat political philosophy. The Democrats, in their hubris, thought the voters finally loved them. WRONG.
The voters *****-slapped the caddish Democrats in 2010. A reminder that rejection of "A" is not embrace of "B".
The Repos are in danger of mistaking 2010 for a re-embrasure of their excesses. WRONG. Rejection of "B" is not embrasure of "A".
Now would be a great time for somebody to step into the muddle and tell them the truth about what the voters REALLY think of the lot of them. It is not what they want to hear.
