Yes, I had thought about that, but I'd rather avoid any kind of invasive surgery. This will be my "last resort" if I can't do as follows:
I would love to fabricate a parallel tap for this connector, using a pair of mating connectors with a jumper between them and the trailer harness tied in there, then I'd be leaving the original wiring and connectors completely unmolested and can pull the trailer harness out at a moment's notice.
Any idea where I can get a pair of these connectors, or where I can get the connector pinout for what signals are on what pins?
