If your on a long haul it will but i put it in N and only went one way 20miles....if i were going on a long trip i would disconnect the drive line.

The euro tow hitches after a certain year are the same sedan/wagon as far as the main part that mounts to the rear of the car under the bumper....however the reinforcements are different.
