Hey Guys,
Trying to help a friend out with his recently purchased 2000 c230 kompressor. Car only has 73k miles and is relatively clean, but started running badly.
The car is running really rough, stumbles at idle and past half thottle.
I scanned the car with my scanner and it had a pile of codes:
P0170 - fuel trim bank 1
P0300 - random misfire detected
P0303 - misfire cyl 3
P0304 - misfire cyl 4
P0203 - injector #3 open circuit
P0105 - Manifold Absolute Pressure
My initial guess is that at least injector #3 is dead or flawed, is there any way to test this electrically?
I know the car has had a new MAF sensor, I am not sure at to why. I really don't know much about the car or it's history.
Any ideas or pointers on what to look for would be great. I have the ability to also scan live data on the car.
Take care and thanks in advance,
George
