@Dee8go: I am very, very interested on urban exploration, as long as it is done safely. One of my teachers made a movie about an asylum in Massachusetts, called Metropolitan State. I will see if I can visit Bethlehem Steel, I heard it is truly monumental. Pictures are definitely in order!
@AquaticEdge: Hey, hey, what is wrong with Zelinople? In one of my road trips I passed next to a place called Griggstown and another one called Krumsville. How about that, eh?

I talked to my instructors and they will allow me to leave early. I would estimate my date of departure to be May 15th. From then on, I will just start messaging people (message me too!) to see if they would be interested on meeting, so the route can be planned accordingly.

Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia is like that, but it's pretty well-visited, and so not so much of a novelty anymore. I have a book of photographs taken in abandoned subway tunnels, power plants, and bridges in New York that is pretty interesting.
