I have a new blower motor for my W116 and I'm trying to figure out how to get the squirrel cage off the old one and on to the new. Any tips/secrets for removing the clamp that I'm assuming secures it to the shaft?

It seems like it should just slide up and off, but I'm not certain what kind of tool would do the trick.
