Joe, I think, got really wrapped up in a fantasy of how he was going to show up at his 30 year high school reunion and blow the pants off of everybody with how successful and happy he was - way, WAY more successful and happy than all those pukes who used to hassle him in school.

And after awhile that's the only game he had going on.
