You can't open it using the inside handle?

What happens when you move the key from lock to unlock?

If my Coupe is any indication, the CD door mechanisms seem to be more prone to becoming sticky or jammed than the sedan/wagon versions.

I doubt that you can get the door panel off with the door shut, without causing major damage.

I suggest that you get a can of spray lubricant with a 'straw' extension and apply it inside the lock, then poke the straw down between the glass and the rubber scraper-strip and get as much lube into the mechanism as you can, both in the area of the latch/handle and the general vicinity of the inside locking tab.

I suspect that the inside mechanism is half-locked (or unlocked). My CD was this way when it arrived from California.

Its a bit embarrassing such a small problem can be such a big burden.
