Eye for an eye court ruling in Iran I kind of like. The guy threw acid in a womans eyes that refused to marry him and permanently destroyed her vision. She has had 17 operations.

The court appears to have ruled that the perpretator be put to sleep and she be allowed to put acid in his eyes. As long as the state does not have to pay to support the guy to me it sounds like many more will think about it before commiting an offence of this nature.

The guy is pleading for her to only take one eye with no effect apparently. Sounds like she is a little pissed still and freely admits it. Can you really blame her? The penalty here might be two years time served and that does not seem just to me.
