The original steering arrangement was sold with the axles so i would either have to use a gm saginaw or a ford 48-53 f1 box and some new custom spring hangers--I made a machined plate for a saganaw yrs ago. Frame modulus is close to 3/8 thick on this badboy! plenty of wiggle though.
There was a book called ---GMC the international truck ---and much info about all the ones left in europe for rebuilding the place, one passage said this was the truck the german engeneers were studying when they came up with the mog.
