So when things are 'good' they are no longer 'interference engines' by industry terms, and there for 'non-interference engines'?
How does the motor change like that?
note: a Non-interference engine is unique in that the piston at top center, never comes into the path of the valve at full lift. In the case of timing component failure (belt, chain or otherwise) there is typically no damage.
