The VERY EARLY 3.5 engines use a different pump than 1971 and up. I believe the change over was in the summer of 1970. These pumps are NLA. I would look for an outfit than can professionally rebuild them or contact Bosch and see if they have the parts, willingness or recommedation for a later retrofit.
