Just went back to the mechanic. The truck did start. Here's the weird part.... you turn the key in the ignition and nothing happens. As I described beofre, the dash lights come on but there is no cranking or turn over , as if the battery is just dead. After 5 or so seconds of this deadness with the key turned, the truck just starts??? WTH?!
