I can report authoritatively that it will cost you a LOT more per gallon than that in Beverly Hills around Wilshire, or Santa Monica Boulevard, though. A LOT more.

I was down in LA last weekend. I paid $4.39 for premium in Beverly Hills. Not too bad IMO. The same day, I paid $4.59 for premium at Harris Ranch.
But - if you only been there, and seen what we were doing...
I left Sacramento Friday night with 50-60% of tread left on my rear tires. Got back to Sacramento on Monday, and had less than 5% of tread left on my rear tires... O_O Lets just say I left an impression on Santa Monica Blvd, Wilshire Blvd, and Rodeo Dr.
