I've been fooling with my 1980 "Mexico" and plan on installing it in my car. I have it rigged up to a power supply and a 2' cheapo antenna in the garage and it's getting stations that I have trouble picking up in other cars around here.

The "scan" is really cool and does a pretty good job for a mechanical system. I've read complaints about the audio quality (It was 1980...) but I'll bet this tuner with that great big antenna should work well on terrestrial radio. Can't find XM on it...
