After talking to a MB guru about my 86 300E hard start problem a week ago, he informed me that it probably was the ICV also he said before he drives 3 hrs to his local shop (somewhat difficult to schedule.) I might want to try replacing it Or cleaning it up..

I am not 100% what this looks like or where it is even located. If someone can shoot me some pics I would appreciate it. (preferably under the hood where it is located.)

Also, we talked a little bit about a hose that is on the upper part of the air filter box. I see a whole about the size of a quarter on the top lid of the air filter box.. But, there is no hose insight.

Is there supposed to be a hose there? What does it look like? where does it connect? ( One side: on the top of the air filter box, The Other Side:_______)

I'm going to bring this 300E back to her former glory. 100%
