Time to start working on this again.

Got a compression tester from harbor freight as it is pointless me replacing fuel items without knowing if the overheating incident caused any dead cylinders....Doubt it, but I don't want any guessing.

Done one cylinder so far, will do the rest later, but wanted to post this question:

When I first did a compression test back in 2009, I had 185psi on cylinder 1, I now have 174/175psi.

Question: Now -- When I did it in 2009, I did not open the throttle, so wondering how much that influences readings? This time I did open throttle. Held it open with screwdriver.

Question 2: Any hints from spark plug for rich/lean? Or does it look about normal?

Slightly yellowish on the top...Picture looks more white, but its more of a yellow color.
