I like that dismantler site.
If it were my car (this is what I am doing) I would screw the modulator until I liked the other shifts, and lay off the fuel during that shift. Do that if the flare doesn't make it impossible to shift.
You know the rebuild will be there and will cost the same regardless of when you do it. Might as well suck the rest of the life out of this one before you go through purchasing another one.
