I don't think I'll be competing this year, or any year for that matter. We've had our canoe for a little over a year now, and finally managed to roll it over the weekend. The dunking was actually quite refreshing, and the recovery was fairly trouble free, but we did lose our beer and beef jerkey in the process. And some sandwiches (didn't loose them, but they got too wet to eat). And my chapstick. And it's very likely my GPS will not recover. But we had a good time, and got to learn a little on the way, so it's all good.
