there's a reason bypass kits come with 1/2"or bigger hose-volume, volume volume! you couldn't get enough oil through an existing port, like the oil pressure switch. the 1s i've seen for domestic applications come with 1/2" pipe female threads. a good bit bigger than the 10 or 12mm hole you might have in mind. and so it goes, chuck.
