There is a very clean 1973 280SEL 4.5 in my neighborhood - owned by an MB tech since 1980. He has had to retire for medical reasons and is putting it on the market. 173k miles. He describes it as mechanically perfect, cosmetically very good (original body/interior/hubcaps/radio/etc.) If there is any interest I can send his phone number.
