OK, have done many transmission R&Rs in the past on other cars.

I noticed an error code P0715 input shaft speed sensor and then trans fluid all over the floor which obviously was triggering the error code as low trans fluid=no turny turny.

Now it does not leak or very little when the fluid is on the low side of the dipstick. Once that final 1/2-1 quart is put in though. LOOK OUT! Flood city.

I checked it closely and the the leak certainly seems to be coming from the front pump seal (where converter slides into the pump) OR front pump O-ring which I'm hoping it is not.

So question is. Front pump seal=easy. Front pump o-ring, do I require any special tools to change this one out? If it is easy to get to I would rather just change out everything I can while the trans is pulled away from the motor. I plan on replacing the electrical connector while down there even though it appears dry. I have a low profile trans jack which I have used on plenty of other trans jobs, have most tools once would need in a garage and plenty of fluid.

As most cars have their own unique idiosyncrasies, curious if I need to lookout for anything with this car? Remove exhaust, drain fluid, unplug electrics, disconnect shifter, remove driveshaft, remove flexplate bolts (6-8 I imagine), jack support, bell housing bolts, roll her back. Anything else while I'm in there? Rear main perhaps?
