As you're running Windows (I guess) you've got a virus scanner haven't you? Right click on the file and "perform XXXXX ENTER PRODUCT NAME HERE XXXXX virus scan"

Failing that mail yourself the file and get your email provider (such as hotmail or gmail) to scan it for you! => here you upload the file to hotmail say - mail to yourself - download file after they've performed their virus scan.

I'm surprised this google software hasn't got its own add-ons feature that does all of the unzipping for you. Before you go into the README files in the add on - check the handbook or online instructions for Sketchup.
