Your dealer is not ever going to "patch" something in that fashon, there addage is to just R&R (remove and replace) the defective items. The large cost is also associated to removing the entire dash to get access to the evaporator unit. Crap design IMO, as my 190's evaporator can get reached by removing the wiper and cowl, two hour job at most.
