Yeah it sounds like jets. Definitely a carb problem, but last time I dealt with carbs was on my grandfathers boat so it was awhile ago.

I know they can be very sensitive to dirt, how deep did you go when you cleaned it?

Does that carb have an internal fuel filter like on the Quadrajets?
