OMFG that's awesome, talk about muscling in on a deal! For only $500k he essentially made that house unsaleable.
Now he can either wait the bank out, buy the house and make a ton of money. Or someone comes along and wants the house and has to buy him out!
Either way he is assured of a nice return on his initial investment, this boys and girls is how you slit a few throats and make money in real estate.
Its just a shame the house still has rights to use the driveway, if not and I were in this position I would block it off.
