Thanks for the info Jeremy! I'm not sure how I would duplicate the first slat but I'll figure something out. I was also wondering about that hole. I also see that the pieces between the seats and the consol are covered in MBtex, these pieces in my '88 are covered in cloth. I'm considering covering them with wood veneer.
