Thanks Peter. The shutoff valve is done! Didn't have to touch the ALDA as per my email. Will try to locate the motor mount and get it replaced. I don't have a lift available so willhave to use jack stands and floor jack.. A little hard on these old bones. Fortunately I have a breaker Bar, although and air ratchet would be easier if I had one. Locating the part might not be as easy since even World Pac does not have in their catologue. Will try calling them. p.s. I note that you feel the 300 td is the fastest MB diesel you've seen, but I am told that the 190 TD is faster because of its weight and smaller silouette. ?????? I guess its a moot point since I'm not likely to race this car. I will concede on that one. Thanks again. hlg
