Wrong:
There are places that the USPS delivers to that private courier services don't. Secondly, USPS service has been BETTER from my experience than any of the big three private courier services -- last FedEx delivery I got required a signature. Nooooo, the building super couldn't sign for it since the super's office is in the same building, but technically a different street address. So it got sent back to some office in the frickin' Bronx, where I either had to pick it up, wait 2 days for it to make it back to my local FedEx location, or spend a day at home off from work waiting for the FedEx putz to deliver.

Epic. Fail. I've never had such problems with USPS.
