To me the classic 115 chassis would be right at home up in the country, winding around the back roads and with a working AC, that's a necessity up there in the summer.
I had a '75 300D that was donated to the non-profit after donating its nice wood dash swapped with the old cracked one on my '71 220 which is still running like a top with 4-speed stick but, I'm sad to say no working AC. It needs the system recharged I think but its not hot enough on the peninsula to justify fixing it especially when I have 4 other Benzs that need AC work

besides that the big York compressor will drag the idling speed down on a little 4 banger so I just don't use it.
