A back-roads drive with that car does sound like fun (except for the summer heat/humidity and the winter storms) but two hours a day is still 1+ year of your life in a 20-year career. Nonetheless, how you spend your time is none of my business. My longest commute in 25 years was 7 miles round trip, just one of the many reasons that allowed me to retire at the age of 50.
OTOH, on weekends I had a favorite 250-mile route that I often did on my BMW motorcycle (so I'm guilty too) but that was in the days of cheap gasoline. (Pardon my old-fart whining about the "good old days").
