Good observation. I didnt even notice that it fell into the innards of the car, until I was fishing in there for something else.

Ill do my best to observe the direction of the washer when I mess with the other side.

I dont know that I agree with scribing the rear window positions. Going through it right now (Im only halfway done with one side because Im doing a bunch of other things on the doors now too), it seems to me that the best thing after 30 years is to correctly adjust the alignment of the front door window and then adjust the alignment of the rear to be properly parallelized and aligned so that we have the most chance for success. The FSM procedure isnt particularly tough it seems to do the adjustment...
