The primary ingredient in the original Triox product by Ortho was Arsenic Trioxide, a soil sterilant, which IIRC has been banned. And, yes, it was super nasty stuff. It would kill everything.....grass, weeds, woody plants, brush, dogs, horses......!
I was in the chemical business and sold a comparable product.
