Window on the drivers side front will not roll down. I think I have traced the fault to the motor. It will not power up when directly connected with my power probe. Switch seems to be good as is the wiring.

Question is: I am having a bear of a time getting the motor/regulator assembly out of the door. I braced the window in the up position so it won't drop, but do I need to lower it to unhook anything? Does the regulator need to come out at all? Is there any way to just take the motor out?
