I just received an unsolicited offer for a position with Tesla Motors. I spoke with them for over an hour this evening, and they have offered to fly me out for a one on one interview. The package they would offer includes a corporate move, including the purchase of my home here in PA, as well as a home to live in in Cali for 12 months.

I'm not looking for a job currently, as my current job's future looks fairly bright. I may, however, take the offer for the one on one so that I can see my step kids, who live in Cali. I'm going to have to give this some thought.

Either way, I'm impressed that another company wants to hire me away from where I work now.
