If you are buying an older one, definately investigate the head gaskets as stated earlier.

A well maintained 2.5L should last well past 200k.

I had both the 2.2 and the 2.5. I liked my 2.2 WAY BETTER than the 2.5. 2.2 is a much peppier engine. I got rid of mine when it started rotting away. I think it had 260,000+ on it and it still ran great.
