Hello,

my 1972 280se 4.5 is running on the hot side all the time.
I have read all the posts about the aux fan and now my question:
Is it wise to let the aux fan run from start of engine till you turn it off?

The car runs on a day with 69F with a temp of 180f-198 in city driving.

is that normal? The aux fan only kicks in when the engine is shut down.
