On my 1989 300sel I have the overflow vent line on top of the radiator that has a plug with o-ring that fits on top. It is leaking/seeping...

why is it not a one piece...can I glue it on? it did pop off a couple of years ago. Afraid it might do so again

Anyone having had to deal with this, please let me know
