Getting paid is always a concern.

Over the years I suspect my non payment would be less than two percent of monies billed.

If my landlord first rule is to let a place set empty rather than rent to a bad tenant, my first rule as an Architect is its better to not be doing work than to do work you won't be paid for.

Separating the two is the tricky part.

In the last two days I have gotten two calls about new Architectural work, both from known previous clients. That is encouraging.

The other night we went to the mall and ate at one of the eateries there. There was hardly an empty parking spot. Looked like thanksgiving day after.

That makes me think the economy is taking off.

Thanks so much for the words of encouragment!
