Congrats, I think you will like it. The OM606 engine is (I apologize to my OM617 friends) as bulletproof as the older diesel while being at once more powerful and fuel-efficient. And you have all of the upgrades and innovations added during the ten-year run of the W124 chassis, including a larger fuel tank. Our '96 E300D has the same engine and, at 278,000 miles, still runs and looks like new.
