If I were to go whole hog:
I would get those replacement plastic lamps for the sealed beams. I would run either low wattage 12v lamps or 120v night light bulbs. I would have a switch that allowed you to run the headlights, marker/parking lights, fog lights, and another switch(or position) that allowed the flashers to flash. Then for good measure a button to honk the two factory horns.
If it was a 126/124 I would make the headlight wipers work
Maybe even put a lighted wreath on the grill for the holidays. I don't think I would do all this if I were going to keep it.
The other art idea I had was to cut one whole side of the car off and mount it as a profile.
