In the 123 cars the best one is the 717 tranny with the M110 engine, great drivers the Euro 185 hp makes all the difference, the 280 SE 126 car was even better. The 124 cars are also great drivers the M103 and the 717 tranny are a very nicely matched drive train, I honestly don't think it could be improved much as far as drivability.

I think the most telling factor is the number of people that decide they’d rather have something instead of one of their manual transmission cars, virtually ZERO!

I’ve sold most of these as tranny installation packages after the engines reached a point of diminishing return and/or the chassis deterioration overwhelmed the ROI, everyone who purchased and installed these transmissions has had nothing but good things to say about the effort and the result.
